Use Talence lawfully
Use Talence only for legitimate, authorized recruiting and business purposes. Customers must comply with privacy, employment, communications, anti-discrimination and other laws applicable to their activity.
Prohibited recruiting misuse
- Illegal discrimination or targeting based on protected characteristics.
- Unlawful candidate profiling or solely automated employment decisions where prohibited.
- Harassment, spam, deceptive outreach or communication without required permission.
- Processing resumes or personal information without authority, notice or a lawful purpose.
- Using absent resume information as definitive proof of a candidate’s inability without appropriate human review.
Security and identity misuse
- Credential sharing, account takeover, impersonation or misrepresentation.
- Probing, bypassing or defeating access, tenant, metering, rate-limit or security controls.
- Introducing malware, scraping without permission, denial-of-service activity or attempts to access another company’s data.
- Connecting a calendar, messaging or provider account without authority.
AI misuse
- Using AI output as an unquestioned final employment decision.
- Creating unlawful, deceptive, abusive or discriminatory recruiting content.
- Attempting to extract confidential prompts, credentials, models or another customer’s information.
- Presenting AI-generated claims as verified facts without appropriate review.
Customer controls and enforcement
Customers are responsible for their users and configurations. Talence may investigate suspected misuse and restrict or suspend activity to protect candidates, customers, providers or the service. We aim to respond proportionately and preserve lawful rights.

Report suspected abuse or security concerns to contact@talenceai.com. Do not include unnecessary candidate data or secrets in an initial report.
